Kids on Camera offers a course in audition training that will be helpful when it comes to auditioning for an acting part. The idea of this course is to prepare your child and build self-confidence; they will learn to look into the camera and carry themselves properly, according to the director's specifications. This proses will make them more comfortable in front of the camera, giving them a better chance at succeeding.
This training course will also teach your child the rules of the industry, preparing them with the help of a singing game and do exercises on camera. An important aspect to know, is the rules then auditioning - this will be taught together with voice over techniques, presenting skills, news reading and specific language or jargon of the film industry. They will learn how to read and speak scripts and add lib. If you are going to be on camera, it is important to learn on-camera techniques and general camera shots, all of which will be included in the audition training.
