Casting Calls 2026 in South Africa
Casting calls in Johannesburg in 2026 can include many different types of work. Some productions need children for TV adverts. Others may look for babies for commercial campaigns, teenagers for acting roles, adults for adverts, or confident presenters for TV and online video work.
At Kids on Camera, we assist with opportunities such as:
- TV commercials and brand adverts
- Print media and catalogue work
- TV presenting auditions
- Acting auditions for children and teens
- Baby and toddler commercial auditions
- Adult acting auditions
- Film, television, and production-related casting calls
We don’t promise that every registered person will get selected for work. Casting decisions are made by the client, production company, or casting team. What we do is help place suitable candidates forward when the right brief comes through, and we assist our registered talent with a better understanding of what to expect.
Why Register with a Casting Agency for 2026 Casting Calls?
Trying to find casting calls in Johannesburg on your own can be frustrating. Many auditions are not advertised publicly, and when they are, it’s not always easy to know whether the opportunity is suitable, current, or legitimate.
By registering with a casting agency in Johannesburg like Kids on Camera, you give yourself or your child a better chance of being considered when suitable briefs are received. Production companies often work through casting agencies because they need access to people who match a specific age, appearance, language, personality, or performance style.
For parents, this makes the process easier. For adults, it creates a more direct way to be considered for roles that fit your profile. For teens, babies, and young children, it helps keep the process organised and handled through a team that understands the industry.
TV Presenter Casting Calls 2026
If you or your child has confidence, clear speech, personality, and a natural presence on camera, TV presenting may be a good route to consider. Presenting work can include kids’ shows, lifestyle inserts, educational content, brand videos, online productions, and promotional segments.
Our TV presenter auditions in South Africa page is a good place to start if you’re interested in presenting opportunities. We help kids and adults understand the process, improve confidence, and get considered for suitable presenter auditions when briefs match their profile.
You don’t need to be famous to start. You need to be reliable, prepared, confident, and willing to learn.
Acting Auditions for Teens in 2026
Teenagers often have great screen potential, but they need the right support. The entertainment industry is competitive, and parents don’t always have the time or contacts to search for proper auditions.
Through our acting auditions for teens service, we assist teens who want to be considered for TV shows, films, presenting opportunities, and adverts. We also recommend audition training for teens who are serious about performing, especially if they’re new to cameras, scripts, voice work, or audition rooms.
A teen who is prepared, supported, and realistic about the process stands a much better chance of handling auditions well.
Commercial Auditions for Babies and Young Children
Brands often need babies and young children for adverts, print campaigns, product shoots, and family-style commercial work. These briefs can be very specific, and casting teams may look for a certain age, look, expression, or temperament.
Our commercial auditions for babies in Johannesburg service helps parents register their babies or children so they can be considered when suitable casting calls are received. Once registered, your child’s details are available on our database, making it easier for us to match them to relevant opportunities.
The role is never guaranteed. If your baby or child fits the brief, we can notify you of the audition and help you understand what comes next.
Acting Opportunities for Adults in Johannesburg
Casting calls in Johannesburg are not only for children. Adults are often needed for commercials, TV roles, presenting jobs, movie scenes, corporate videos, and advertising campaigns.
If you’re based in Johannesburg or nearby and you want to be considered for screen work, visit our page for acting auditions for adults in Johannesburg. Whether you’re new to acting or want part-time commercial work, we can help you get listed and considered for suitable auditions.
Adults don’t need to start with a long acting CV. Many adverts and productions need real people with natural confidence, clear communication, and the right look for a specific brief.
Optional Training to Build Audition Confidence
Kids on Camera in Johannesburg offers optional training to help candidates feel more confident on camera. Training can help with audition preparation, on-camera practice, voice use, script reading, presenting, and general industry knowledge.
This is especially helpful for beginners. A first audition can feel intimidating, but preparation makes a big difference. When a child, teen, or adult understands how to listen, respond, present, and take direction, they’re more likely to give a strong audition.
